Dogs at Polling Stations

If any of you went/go to vote today with your dog and took/take a photo of said Ddog outside the polling station, I'd love you to share it. Always nice to see the variety of dogs there are and their faces/expressions.

Same, I’d have had to walk him past, walk him home and then go back again. As it was I left him outside quite happily (live in a tiny village so it’s safe to do so) and the local independent candidate (who I know) kept an eye on him for me while I voted. He got my vote anyway!

Lovely photo, @Idratherbepaddleboarding. I wonder how labradors would vote. They just assume the best about everybody and want everyone to be happy. If there's a party for that, I'd vote for it.

I had no idea you could take in dogs! I walked the dog past it twice, then home, then out on my own again to vote! He can come to help me kick the Tories out in the GE then!

People should be leaving them at home, not taking them here, there and everywhere.

Dogs need walking. We walked ours via the Polling Station and took turns going in. You can't leave dogs at home all day. Bonkers.

I took one of mine but didn’t take a photo! The volunteer chap looked after him while I was in there. He did try and jump up at him and looked very surprised when I said get down and he realised I could still see him 😂this is him not at polling!

Aww I had no idea or I'd have taken my girl. She's clueless though and would vote for whoever gave her a treat! Here she is looking very unhappy that she's not had breakfast yet instead.

As an aside can we just focus on the dogs rather than argue semantics about where the elections are being held?
