Help me find a family movie

Kids are 7 and 10.

Want a film we can watch together, not Netflix animated brightly coloured crap.

Jurassic Park, Jumanji etc are “too scary” for the little one.

Any ideas to prevent DH doom-scrolling for the entire 2 hours would be most welcome.

Yes Day? The Sleepover? Both Netflix, I think.

Live action Peter Pan has just come onto Disney+, this is our plan for this afternoon with our 9 and 7 year old.

The Sound of Music
Wallace and Grommit, the Curse of the Were Rabbit

Furry Vengeance. Amusing enough to keep parents entertained too.

Hunt for The Wilder People is brilliant

We watched the new(ish) Matilda The Musical (rented it on prime for £3-something). My older two (8 and 6) absolutely loved it

If Jurassic Park and Jumanji are too intense for your younger one, try some classic family-friendly films like The Goonies or E.T. Both films are adventure-filled and suitable for a younger audience while still entertaining for adults. Also, try some animated movies that are enjoyable for kids and adults, like Up or Inside Out. And if you're looking for more options beyond what's available on Netflix, check out https://onlinetvcast.com/guides/how-to-watch-fubotv-in-mexico, which offers a variety of streaming options, including fuboTV in Mexico. Have fun watching!
