When out what’s your chosen drink?

Tom Collins or an Old Fashioned for me please!

Vodka and fresh orange but nowadays usually a lime and soda

I've thought about this a lot recently as i tend to go with whatever my drinking companions are having , so prosecco or gin if I'm with friends , red wine if I'm with my family, but actually I much prefer white wine or a Jack Daniels and Coke
Clearly I need to get a backbone and start choosing what I went rather than what everyone else is having 😂

Dry white wine, then I’ll have Bombay Sapphire gin and slimline tonic and then a few baby Guinness 😋

Amaretto sour, or amaretto and coke if no sour available.

I had the most amazing one in France over Easter, they'd put lightly whipped egg whites on tip. Looked like bubbles, tasted like meringue. Best thing I've ever had.

French martini or aperol spritz.

Cocktail - margarita
Pub - gin and tonic
Home - red wine or whisky

Pinot grigio or Babycham. Classy 😁

Disaronno & diet coke

Espresso martini or an Australian chardonnay if I'm not driving, Cawstons fizzy Rhubarb or a ginger beer if I am.

Depends on the weather and the occasion
Red wine at home in winter
Champagne cocktail at the start of a lovely dinner
Pimms and lemonade in the garden or on a picnic (I'm a sucker for a mixed drink in a tin!)
Lovely cask beer; amber or IPA in a pub or at a festival.

Cocktail: Mojito
Pub: Spiced rum and lemonade
Home: Dry white wine if we're sat out in the garden or red wine in the winter

A bramble gin cocktail or a Singapore sling

Cherry Amaretto sour, or a gin and tonic, or a pint of guinness with a wee touch of blackcurrant

Grapefruit malfy gin and tonic

So pleased I started this thread!!
reminded of so many drinks that I may try again - in an grown up way not the guzzling teenage fiend I was….
however, making me google what a French martini is had made me happiest, that’s going right on my list!!

I would love to try a Cherry Amaretto Sour.

For me: just about any cocktail, wine or fortified wine. The only thing I don't like is beer / lager / ale but that's not a problem as there are lots of people who will drink my share!

Gin gimlet or a bicyclette, though if I'm 'out' it's usually for a meal, so I'd have a mixed drink before and wine with.
