What moments have made you feel like an adult?

I'm married, have a house and a beautiful baby. But a full matching set of plates/ bowls/ cups and even a tea pot a few days ago made me feel very grown up 😂

(Yes I am bored and just about to make my afternoon coffee at work)

When DD got a proper bed instead of a cot, and I was in her room one morning making the bed and pottering about - it hit me that I don't just have a baby, I am actually someone's mother!

Transferring my old works pension into my new pension plan.

I agree with others when they say watching your parents & pils age and decline in health. It makes you feel more grown up than you ever want to be.

On a more lighthearted note, when DH asked if I “wanted to go for a ride out somewhere…” Infact that made me feel like a pensioner 😂
