Putting off peeling carrots & spuds for tea. Can’t wait for bangers, double cream mash, carrots, petitpois & onion gravy with fried onions for me ( DH not keen). Had a mad shift at work today so glad to be chilling out with a glass of Reisling. I might do a bit of composing on the piano before we eat. DH cleaning his bike with the rabbits in attendance & DD14 in her room as per. I have been on Facebook Marketplace so a couple of parcels should be arriving in the next few days. A gorgeous pair of Fly sandals & some clothes ( Joe Brown dress, White Stuff dress & a hoody which I think is also Joe Brown). Not much planned for tonight. Working 5 hours tomorrow then DH cooking & we’ll watch BGT. Sunday I’m going to see a show with Giovanni from Strictly which was one of my birthday pressies from DH. I’m going on my own, having a nice lunch first & maybe a spot of shopping. Much needed “ me time”. Wishing you all a lovely weekend 🙂🙂☀️☀️

Freezer dinner of ov chips,chicken kievs and green beans. Reading with a glass of wine. Dd and Ds in their rooms. DH grumpy with a heavy cold and conjunctivitis. I'm administering eye drops and trying to ignore the groaning and sighing.

DS is in bed dosed up on calpol after being sent home from nursery with a high temp and ear pain. DD is in her cot and DH is sitting on her bedroom floor trying to convince her to fall asleep. I'm about to head out to get a new pushchair I found on Facebook market place. Hopefully I'll come back to two sleeping children, then curry and wine before early bed. Bracing myself for (another) bad night with the kids. Very jealous of all of you with older children right now!!!

I'm in the garden have a naughty cigarette and scrolling MN, whilst I wait for my dd to finish her dinner. She's been eating for 45 minutes! The washing machine is on and I can't wait to get dd to bed, so I can put my feet up and relax with the dog and a cup of tea on the sofa.

Oh I’d KILL for a glass of something right now!

Baby just fallen asleep and I am laying next to him waiting for the white noise to finish its 20 minute cycle so I can turn it on again (he’s only in a deep sleep after 2 white noise cycles!) then I’ll go for a quick shower.

DS1 is in his room on the PS, after my shower I’ll start his bedtime and when they are both soundo I shall go downstairs, make myself a brew, get my milky bar buttons and watch the most recent episode of great expectations with the dog 🐶

DP on a late shift not sure what time he’s home but saved him some sausage pasta.

DH watching tv. DS1 playing for a little bit before he gets calpol and bed, expecting a rotten night again as he's loaded with cold. I'm sat with baby DS2 who's asleep on me like a little koala while I scroll aimlessly on here and Instagram. DH is going to the shop when DS1 goes to bed for a bottle of wine as mentioned I fancied a nice cold glass - will be my first in almost a year as still not touched a drop since May

We're having a "piccy" tea, all cuddled up on the sofa watching Doctor Who.

I am on the sofa in my pjs and oodie considering starting a book, dh is in the shower and will probably stick the tv on once he’s done, dd18 is in her room I assume on her iPad (she’s due at work in a pub at 10pm and needs a few hours silence before she goes), dd15 is at the gym and dd8 is at her friend’s house two doors away. She’ll be brought in soon for a shower and bed.

I won’t be moving from this spot apart from to take dd8 to bed and tuck her in and then either me or dh will drive dd18 to work later before going to bed. It’s been a long week this week and we’re all tired for some reason. I can’t wait to go to bed so it’s a very quiet Friday night here.

I’m on the sofa with a mug of coffee (will swap for wine later), dh is getting irritated with Siri as usual and the dcs are playing Minecraft together without arguing. Not a bad start to the weekend.

I'm intrigued as to what causes him to get so regularly frustrated with Siri!

We are having a takeaway steak pizza, veggie for dd and ice creams to follow, cookie dough and got nice ice cream cones. Strawberry cider. Collected Sainsburys order before that.

What's happening round here?

There's football on. Arsenal are losing. Currently being subjected to Olympic-level moaning about fucking everything that's happening on the pitch, like I'm sharing a house with the two greatest experts in the history of association football.

Apart from that, things are good. Hope all is fine and dandy with you.

Dog is snoring on one settee , myself and adult daughter are watching a documentary about the Pankhurst sisters , husband is still in his home office in a meeting .

I'm watching Escape to the Chateau DIY. DS 19 who is going back up to uni tomorrow is playing D&D with his pals online and will probably meet up with them later. Drabbit is relaxing in her enclosure enjoying her dandelions. DH is due home from work any minute.

Feeling meh. On soft light food until at least Sunday following a tooth extraction on Wednesday, would love a glass of wine but not risking it just yet.

Trying to pack for coming holiday. Half packed suitcase is sitting looking at me, can't be bothered to do any more tonight. Wish I had someone to do it for me. Will finish off tomorrow.

DH is downstairs on sofa with dog watching a film. I am upstairs in bedroom with cats.

I rarely drink alcohol, haven't had any since Christmas but might have an orange Fanta in a minute.
Had cereal for tea, can't be arsed to make anything on a Friday after a long week at work.
I'm also reading a new book I started today, going well 😁

Sitting with a cup of tea on the settee watching horrible histories with dc1 and dh. Dc2 has just gone to bed. Dc1 goes up soon, thank the lord.

The girls have just been down for a brew & some Easter chocolate. Now they're back upstairs - dd2 compiling a list of books she'd like, not sure about dd1. Probably practising sticking lashes, at a guess, the same as most nights this week.

I'm going to drink my cup of tea, decide whether I'd like an air fryer (my dad's offered to buy me one), then head to bed. I'm still not 100% & it's bloody tiring being uncomfortable all the time 😢

Lovely thread. Little ones asleep big ones still up and we are all about to stick a film on just deciding what. We've got sweets and crisps 🙂 I might slope off in a bit to get a bath I've got to be up early tomorrow as am volunteering in church in the morning so early start!
