Hi all
I'm looking for a hotel in London near a tube line but outside of the congestion charge zone with car parking please
Grateful for any ideas

Which direction are you coming from? Mad to stay in Watford if you're coming from Dover.

This is very much how long is a piece of string.

Which end are you coming from?
Where abouts do you want to be?

Have you considered renting a parking space as a lot of hotels have minimal parking and high costs.

I could recommend one in Chiswick for example. Right next to Acton Town tube....but not helpful if you want less than thirty into London....

If you are coming from the south or south west the O2 is good , station car park ( North Greenwich ) is reasonable and there are plenty of other more costly car parks if that’s full . You could also then go into London on the Thames clipper boat service or the underground .

Don't discount overland train lines too - they're often faster than the tube.

We stay at Northolt coming from west mids. Straight off m40/A40, tube station right there.

We stayed at the Village Hotel in Watford - short bus trip to the nearest tube station.

Don't forget, in addition to the central congestion charge zone, there is also the ULEZ charge in the area within the north and south circular roads if your vehicle qualifies.

I'm lucky as my little car is ulez friendly

I'd say the same (Ricky) and you also have the quicker Chiltern line into Marylebone. Not much of a London experience though.
