Crikey, I must be going senile, I've been to Romania and Bulgaria, as well. We drove from Varna to Sofia in a knackered bus, which had to stop, so the driver could put water in the coolant system.

And it was so cold that thousands of storks and cranes were frozen to fences, we saw farmers picking them up to take indoors.

PollyPeptide · 14/04/2023 20:56

But to be fair, it does count the uK as 4 different countries. So maybe 76.

I'm also ay 76. There's only a handful more that I think I'll end up visiting now

dimpleton · 15/04/2023 08:32

Aren't all the Greek islands part of Greece?

YellowGreenBlue · 15/04/2023 08:33

It's 39 for me.

toddlermom99 · 15/04/2023 08:49

I'm 24 and I've been to 36 countries and will be hitting 45 by the end of next year ☺️

BirdChirp · 15/04/2023 08:52

45

ShanghaiDiva · 15/04/2023 08:57

56
we lived overseas for 25 years so 17 year old dd has visited over 30.

travailtotravel · 15/04/2023 08:59

Excluding UK and countries I've lived in, 103. I've been to some countries multiple times but that's not included. I feel fortunate as i am not sure prolific travel is affordable in the same way it once was either economically or environmentally.

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 15/04/2023 09:03

Really want to travel some more! There’s a lady on Masterchef who has been to 59 countries. Here are mine:-
Ireland
Wales
Denmark
Italy
Portugal
France
Greek mainland
Crete
Turkey
Tenerife
Lanzarote
California/Washington
Switzerland
Spain
South Africa - would return in a heartbeat!

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 15/04/2023 09:03

50 not 59

nicetoseetgesunsout · 15/04/2023 09:30

Paulrn · 15/04/2023 11:18

USA, Canada, Falklands, UAE, Oman, India, Djibouti, Egypt, Kenya, Indonesia, Singapore, Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, Italy, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Greece, Belgium, Malta, Cyprus, Cape Verde, Ascension Isles, Crete if it counts as separate from Greece, Guam, Seychelles, Mauritius, Monaco, Spain including all Balearic and Canary Islands, Portugal, Madeira, Denmark, Diego Garcia, Sicily, Porto Santo, Andros Island, Jamaica, St Kitts, Barbados, Dominican Republic, St Lucia, St Vincent, St Marteen, Turkey, Tunisia, Southern Island, South Africa. If we are counting UK all countries there and Scilly Islands and 3 of the Channel Islands I’m sure there are more but my memory dump isn’t complete.

Paulrn · 15/04/2023 11:20

See I forgot Austria and Macedonia

Paulrn · 15/04/2023 11:24

And Holland, South Africa and Gibraltar will stop now

Beezknees · 15/04/2023 11:29

UK. England, Scotland and Wales if we're counting them separately, not been to NI yet.
Ireland
France
Belgium
Netherlands
Italy
Vatican City
Spain
Greece
Turkey
Portugal
Malta
Czech Republic
Tunisia
USA
Cape Verde
Thailand
Finland

Not many. Still plenty I'd like to go to.

GetYourActTogether1 · 15/04/2023 11:31

I’ve been to 61, my DH has been to 70, we met someone on our holiday last week who has been to over 120.

Beezknees · 15/04/2023 11:33

Why are people listing Greek and Spanish islands separately? They aren't countries, you can't count them as different countries.

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 15/04/2023 11:34

Forgot Morocco

Fandabedodgy · 15/04/2023 11:35

Well Jersey is not part of the Uk or GB so technically most would say fair to list it. Also, some identify it as being a country.

Are you educated? You assumed that a whole demographic of an online forum were educated? 😂
