I've never watched Forrest Gump

Even though I absolutely and completely and utterly ADORE Tom Hanks. He's so amazing I would feed him strawberries and champagne all day long.

Is this film worth watching? I've seen 20 or so of his films... but not his most popular one! 😃

HOW can anyone possibly get The Ick with King Tom?! He is the most perfect, funny and lovely man in the world 🥰

I saw it and thought it was cheesy. His performance in Philadelphia was incredible though

I both love and hate TH films - Big, turner and hooch, philidelphia, saving private ryan were a few of the brilliant ones. The green mile was outstanding and my favourite.

Forest Gump I managed about 20 mins and got bored. Same with castaway. Sleepless in seatle and youve got mail are watchable but boring and below his calibre. I enjoyed elvis but didnt like TH in it,

Otherwise I love Tom Hanks (other than in Elvis, he's just not a convincing baddie!)

One of my favourites, for an understated, subtle performance - and uncannily like the real-life Captain Sullenberger - is Sully.

I hated it. I found it overly simplistic and and about as subtle as a sledgehammer.

It is also quite controversial in terms of romantic relationships for FG with him being taken advantage of by the female lead.

I hated it, nearly walked out of the cinema but was with a group of friends.

It's reactionary nonsense. Couldn't bear Tom Hanks for years afterwards.
