Moon boots, a Head barrel sports bag, a shiny Lycra all in one leotard like in Fame, a real Sony Walkman and a sodastream.

SheilaFentiman · 11/04/2023 00:17

A life size version of barbie’s rattan furniture, with reversible pink and blue cushions
Madonna’s hair from Desperately Seeking Susan
Allll the books
And a harp

ariaknox · 11/04/2023 00:19

A hubba bubba factory 👀

OrderOfTheKookaburra · 11/04/2023 00:24

Lamborghini countash - a white one. Circa 1985 if we have to be precise as that was the poster on my wall. £1 million wouldn't be enough for a brand new one anyway.....

Or a red Ferrari 308 GTB - that was the 2nd poster.

Don't think I could buy the planets on my 3rd poster.... 😅

DarkDarkNight · 11/04/2023 00:27

5 German Shepherds
A 1960s Mini
A lighthouse to live in

that sounds like the life!

WitcheryDivine · 11/04/2023 00:34

A small castle where I can organise elaborate historical re-enactments and play the parts of all the people in the past. I would of course ropeswing across a stream to get to work.

If my acting skills weren’t enough to draw applauding crowds then the huge bowls of Turkish delight in every room and world renowned dolls house collection surely would be.

HerRoyalNotness · 11/04/2023 00:39

An old house with an attic playroom with a large trunk of dress up clothes….sounds like the start of a horror film

Itslookinglikeabeautifulday · 11/04/2023 00:39

A horse (preferably my friend Flicka). A pair of Scholl clogs (I was never allowed them as I'd "break your neck on them falling over". A plastic see-through umbrella (highly coveted by a younger me) and a skipping rope with those little ballbearings in each handle.

NoSquirrels · 11/04/2023 00:40

Dogs

SockGoddess · 11/04/2023 01:25

mnahmnah no! Your poor kickers!

A girl in our school wore red kickers and looked so cool - it was breaking the uniform rules but she never got into trouble. The teachers probably couldn’t bring themselves to object to the obvious coolness. Maybe you were her!

Re rara skirts that lots of people have mentioned, I actually did have one (despite being generally a tomboy) and loved it. I wore it with over the knee socks and looked amazing, or so I thought!

HarrietSchulenberg · 11/04/2023 01:32

A chestnut horse with four white socks and a blaze. And for us to move from our nasty bungalow to a big, rambling house near the sea. And quite a lot of brothers and sisters too, if the million quid will stretch that far.

katscamel · 11/04/2023 04:55

Fashion by me (I got a fashion wheel instead)
VW Beetle
Boot Skates
Tickets for Aha
Heather Shimmer Lipstick
House with a big bay window and window seat
A bigger bedroom

cariadlet · 11/04/2023 05:15

Little electric lights that worked for my dolls house.

I'm now living in (what was then) my local library. The children's section was a whole floor and in my memory was absolutely enormous.

IHeartGeneHunt · 11/04/2023 05:57

Ice skating lessons (I wanted to be Katarina Witt)
A shop by the sea selling herbal things and jewellery
A King Charles spaniel
A dapple grey horse
A house like the castle in I Capture the Castle

MintJulia · 11/04/2023 06:07

A bicycle
New school uniform that fit.
More shoes
Central heating
My own room
A foreign holiday
Different parents
A car that worked

But mostly just different parents. 😀

Ponderingwindow · 11/04/2023 06:07

Cabbage patch kids

the Swarovski large crystal stone with silver sword letter opening jutting out of it sword in the stone style

a green jaguar 4 door sedan

whatchagonnado · 11/04/2023 06:33

An Appaloosa horse or 3 and some fancy equipment and stabling near to lots of people who love hacking
And a very smart car
A full stylish walk in wardrobe of clothes picked for me by a personal dresser (no effort, I don't have to think about what I wear!)
My own recording studio and band
Endless sunny days
Personal chef
By the coastline

sashh · 11/04/2023 06:34

Guitar lessons.

Riding lessons.

Spare school uniform so I didn't have to wear the same items for 5 days at a time.

wizzler · 11/04/2023 06:38

School fees for Mallory towers

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 11/04/2023 06:41

Dogs and a pony. And a house with a field and stable for the pony.

Two swimming pools - one indoor, one out. To be fair I wouldn’t have thought of the indoor one as a child but I’m going to have it anyway. 🙂

Afonavon · 11/04/2023 06:54

TattiePants · 10/04/2023 23:22

Unlimited supply of Diamond White and Castaway to make Blastaways (started drinking way too early)!

Ooh I was thinking about them the other day. They were lovely (at the time).

Afonavon · 11/04/2023 06:59

I’d have:

Mr Frosty.
A treehouse that only I could climb up to.
All of the Secret Seven and Famous Five Books.
Proper (not from the market) clothes.
Magic shoes from Clarks
