What little things make you happy?

I got to hang out a load of towels this morning for the 1st time this year. I mean it was snowing a 3 weeks ago, torrential rain last week.

So hanging out the washing made me happy. Well until one of the towels got blown off the line and ended up in the bush 😂

First day I've got my washing out today, house smells lovely

DH was at home with kids today and did model farm trip, walk etc.... first thing he said when I got home was "I hung the laundry out today!"

Highlight of the week!

And I thought it was just me that looked forward to hanging washing outside. I love seeing it all on the line!

I also enjoy going to the tip. Strange I know!

Dh was very happy about that when I got home from work today too. (he's wfh)

It’s great. I’ve managed to wash my duvet and get it dry on the line. And it all smells so much fresher !

DH stripped my bed, washed and line dried my sheets, and made it up for me - I am very happy!

Now we're barbequing Greek marinaded lamb to have with pilaf rice and salad, having done some weeding. With a nice cold beer.

Life is so much better than it has seemed recently. . .

Hung out my first line of washing yesterday - and forgot about it! First time this year and I let it get darked on 🤦‍♀️

I also enjoy going to the tip. Strange I know!

Its not strange at all, there are few better feelings than driving back from the tip with an empty car.

Line drying is fab. Haven't been able to use the washing machine though for the last two days as pipes were frozen - it lives in a brick shed outside!

I did though hand rinse my muddy cycling gear this morning, so I hung that out, which is still satisfying, though not as much as a full line.

DH power washed our green and slimy back yard all fresh for spring and I keep looking out and admiring the lovely clean paving.

I just love the change of seasons. Every time I feel so ready for the change ☺️

Love to get my washing out too! So nice to see it out on the line and it smells so much better ☺️

I got all of my sons clothes he has out grown organised and into vacuum seal bags. I also have a big bag of clothes to bring to the charity shop (nice dresses etc) and a smaller bag to go to the clothes bank. Big old clear out!

Lots of lovely things on here. I must get my planting sorted. I've peppers planted hopefully they grow. I'm lucky to have the space and usually grow a good few things when I can. Getting better at it every year.
