I hope Thomas Cashman gets a full life sentence.
This vile creature who murdered an innocent child and whos drug dealing has ruined so many lives has not even the balls to face court ,Olivia’s family or the judge !
What a cowardly waste of oxygen!

Doubt he'll come out alive tbh

Yirk · 03/04/2023 16:04

Good sentencing!! 42 years minimum

Well, yes there are rumours there is a price on his head.

I just hope the police are going after his associates, because this is not a one man band.

KnottyKnitting · 03/04/2023 16:06

Apparently he claims the court case was turning into a circus ! Erm one he caused by shooting a little girl dead. He is going to need eyes in the back of his head in jail- let's hope they rip him to shreds!

ShipSpace · 03/04/2023 16:09

About time we started considering consecutive serving of sentences, rather than this concurrent nonsense.

For career criminals, serving sentences consecutively effectively gives them them a ‘buy one, get three free’ deal.

Yes. How long has this been a 'thing'?

It has been a thing since the safety and wellbeing of custody staff has been valued.

Agree..hopefully there will be a massive clean up and many more prosecutions !

*concurrently 🤦🏻‍♀️

midsomermurderess · 03/04/2023 16:10

What good would it do, dragging him in to the dock, carrying on, effing and blinding. The child’s family will be so distressed without that whole other drama playing out. He’s a coward. He will never again be free.

TreeLine23 · 03/04/2023 16:18

He should be dragged in by the balls. He should NOT be allowed to dictate whether he appears or not, the coward.

SinnerBoy · 03/04/2023 16:23

I thought that the law had been changed, so that prisoners had to be present at their sentencing?

That wouldn't help the family.

This was their time to speak through victim impact statements, cashman acting like a prick, possibly kicking off would have made that so much harder.

How would you enforce it? Try working with these types... you may see why it cannot be enforced

I think they were exploring the option of forcing prisoners to attend but realistically how would it work? Even dragging them in there in handcuffs they would make such a scene they would be removed. I did read an article from 2022 that suggested they were exploring the option of longer sentences if prisoners didn’t appear too.

Galatine · 03/04/2023 16:53

Don't waste words on him. I've shit better men than him.

Galatine · 03/04/2023 16:58

I suspect that he'll have a well deserved tough time in prison or, quite possibly, be segregated. Even hardened inmates don't take kindly to people who harm children!

PogoThePunk · 03/04/2023 17:22

I'm glad he was before a judge who had gumption, whether he appeared for his sentencing or not.
The snivelling bastard should be wired to the mains.

This.

My understanding of prison hierarchy is that paedophiles and child killers are the absolute dregs. The poor ickle hard done by worthless piece of shit, had better watch his back. He's gone from being a shark to a teeny tiny little fish

Boogismyname · 03/04/2023 17:27

Yeah, he's a massive wetter.
Not so cool now!

Sniper sounds good to me!

More punishment to let him be scared in prison for the rest of his life

Hopefully someone will wait until the day before his 42 years are up before finishing him off. Any less suffering than that will be too good for him.

BlackBarbies · 03/04/2023 17:34

42 years. Fucking hell

I understand that, but how do they deal with violent offenders then? What do they do when a prisoner kicks off?

This. Full sentenced served and then hope snatched away at the last hour. He deserves to feel scared every single day of those 42 years.

That's quite untrue!!
