I offended under asking price for an item on Facebook and instead of declining she just left the chat without saying anything😂

are we not meant to offer on prices for second hand items anymore?! If she’s declined I would have brought the item anyway.. but there’s no harm in asking no?

I think most people put something up for sale on FB Marketplace occasionally. They are quite different to the frequent semi-professional sellers, some of whom seem to be on this thread.

I sell or buy something on FB maybe once or twice a year, I'm not interested in getting involved in the haggling aspect AT ALL.

I've had the misfortune of trying to sell a lot of things on FB recently. People are cheeky fuckers so I overprice everything to end up getting what I wanted in the first place. I've lost count of the number of people who I've given my address to but then haven't turned up.
