Chocolate Orange - Yum or Yuck?

Was in town with a colleague at lunch and spotted Terry's chocolate orange truffles! She screwed her face up and said yuck!

I came back to the office (team of 15) and asked them in our general teams chat if they like chocolate orange or not. Every single one of them said no! More truffles for me haha!

Am I the only one who likes it? lol! DH hates it! I can't get enough of it!!

I love it. DH hates it. So of course I enjoy buying it for myself so he's not tempted to take any of it. It's the DC I have to fend off instead.

My husband is OBSESSED. For Christmas he got a massive Amazon box full of all things chocolate orange. He was over the moon!

I used to like chocolate orange. Now it's sadly gone the way of most cheap chocolate, full of cheap vegetable oils, too much sugar & they've reduced the cocoa (& probably the dairy) content.

I wouldn't have eaten chocolate orange truffles though. Truffles - vile, gooey sticky & oversweetened. I'd eat my own weight in decent praline though...

Variable. I've had chocolate oranges that taste lovely, and the odd one that didn't melt and tasted soapy. Not sure why! I'm a big fan of the orange twirl though.

Yuck. I like chocolate and I like orange. Weirdly though I find the combination of the two absolutely revolting.

Eeewww! Can't stand any form of chocolate orange. I love chocolate and orange on their own but not together, makes me want to heave.

Love them, and I can see the old Terrys factory from my bedroom window. It’s a beautiful building (now flats) which weirdly makes me love chocolate oranges even more

My lovely mum worked as a secretary at Terry's in the '40s and they used to bring round chocolate regularly for staff to test flavours - she said she got so sick of it she didn't eat choc for years 😆
