What time would you get to the airport?

Our flight is at 5.55am
There are 6 other flights departing at 6am and 6.05 am
What time would you head there for?

oh gawd, OP has describe a torture scenario to me. I'd be so cross about losing that time I could have been sleeping. I hope the holiday goes splendidly, anyway.

Everything was fast other end too
We got off plane and through passport control in two mins and bags were ready to collect

We learned the hard way last year you never know what's going to happen to delay you getting to the airport. We live 15 minutes drive away and I kid you not at 4 in the morning halfway there our car broke down 🤣
After 5 minutes of blind panic we stuck DS 10 at the side of the road crying and cuddling his Teddy, whilst the husband and I attempted to get the car up the highest kerb known to man to get it off the road. The crying child worked and a pastry chef in his way to work stopped to help push and gave us a lift. The plan had been to walk whilst trying to get a taxi.
When we got to the airport and through security I pretty much downed a glass of wine 😂

3am. You still have to get through security and there's no telling how busy that will be.

The OP has already flown, but Newcastle is a fraction of the size of Brum!
Id probably do 90mins at NCL, but a generous 2 hours at BHX
