DD and I have been watching Scrubs and I remember how much I used to have a huge crush on Zach Braff when I was younger. I just googled him and he hasn’t aged well and also now find his character really annoying in Scrubs (and now I really fancy Dr Cox 😂). I did also read that he dated the very gorgeous Florence Pugh so maybe he has hidden depths (although the 17 year age gap I found a bit ick inducing too).

I had a series of nightmares about mark Owen when I was about 10 for some reason I found him terrifying. Dm had changed the channel one night as apparently something was ‘too scary’ so what she changed to was something with mark Owen in but I had nightmares he was chasing me 😂😂

When I was 12-14 (1990-92) i thought Axl was the most beautiful man alive.

I was a super-fan of G n' R and still have my scrapbooks and magazines from that time. Saw them at Wembley Stadium in '92 which was an epic day for my 14 year old self even though the stage seemed miles away.

Then the 90's band falling out happened. And the Chinese Democracy album being delayed for so long it was considered a myth. Then it came out and was quite shit.

I'd moved on and was shocked when I saw a red-faced waxy looking person with braids trying to cover up his baldness. He looked like he'd been rode hard and put away wet.

When they reformed, everyone I knew thought I'd be first in line for a tour ticket. Nah, I want to remember them as they were in the 80s and early 90s. Not as 50+ year olds playing it out onstage for the ££££

Most of the comments are not even about ageing but about men saying repulsive sexist rubbish that - surprise, surprise - puts women off them!

@EddieSteady I agree with you about Axl Rose, but Slash was always my favourite. And when I saw then last summer he did not disappoint! But then I do quite like grizzled long haired rockers.

Oh also Vince Neil. He was always a bit of a hot mess but at least he was a hot one. Now he is just a sweaty mess!

I agree it's the pretty, boyish ones who lose their looks the quickest, Watching reruns of classic Star Trek, I used to think how handsome William Shatner was...until he wasn't.

Jarvis Cocker was beautiful then went through this middle aged disheveled look and now has become this beautiful older man. And kept his great personality

Prince William imo still has a beautiful face but if only he'd completely shave his head, he'd look so much better. Some men suit hair loss but sadly, he doesn't which really isn't his fault
