DD and I have been watching Scrubs and I remember how much I used to have a huge crush on Zach Braff when I was younger. I just googled him and he hasn’t aged well and also now find his character really annoying in Scrubs (and now I really fancy Dr Cox 😂). I did also read that he dated the very gorgeous Florence Pugh so maybe he has hidden depths (although the 17 year age gap I found a bit ick inducing too).

Nearly every man mentioned on this thread is with or has recently been with a much younger woman/women....

Agree with Robbie. Had a proper teenage crush on him when he was in his Rock DJ, Come Undone heyday.

I think he looks a bit botox-y now and possibly would look better if he gained a bit of dad bod weight.

Mark Wright from Towie. About 12 years ago I thought he was gorgeous.

Now I just find him a a bit cringey.

I definitely prefer the men who have aged more naturally, bit of grey hair etc. Not keen on botox etc on men personally. I love a more rugged look.

I agree. Jon Bon Jovi has done this well in my view - accepting aging without desperately trying to fight it, and also letting his hair go grey.

Similarly, on the female side, Lisa Kudrow looks so much better in my view than either of the other two from Friends.

Brad Pitt was always too pretty boy for my liking, I preferred him as he got older.

I get that some people age better than others and some people choose to have work done.

But a lot of people are giving reasons for someone's behaviour, views and actions rather than just that they've aged badly

Not Sam Neill!!! The man has aged like fine wine. A prime example of someone who started out with the ick (all because of The Omen and Event Horizon), but something about him in Hunt for the Wilderpeople absolutely changed my mind!

I will add Scott Bakula. In his Quantum Leap heyday he was beautiful. After seeing him in NCIS New Orleans, he got his hair cut and I realised he has a really funny shaped head 😖

Sam Heughan. Turns out he’s only fit with red hair and a kilt.

Benedict Taylor was in Barriers, a Kids drama on a Sunday afternoon, and then went on to the likes of Disney for a role in Escape from Witch Mountain.

Oliver Tobias was known for The Stud and The Bitch mainly, but also played the Devil in the Ultravox video, Hymn.

Agree with most of these. I found a lot of my tastes reversed as I got older. A lot of people I found Ick then I now find attractive and vice versa.

A lot of the boyish looking guys when they were younger seem to have aged really badly. I had a mad obsession with Buffy for example and a MASSIVE crush on James Marsters (Spike) and didn't get why people obsessed over David Boreanaz (Angel), but now think the total opposite.

Same with Axel Rose. Handsome back in the day and a mess now, but Eddy Vedder has aged spectacularly after looking pretty boyish. Plenty of Metal band members that have done the same but it might go over the majority of heads here if I start listing out Metal singers 😁

Oh my best friend in high school was OBSESSED with Ian Watkins from Lost Prophets too to the point she met him and would kiss his poster etc.

Massive regrets on that one.

To be fair Val Kilmer is dying of throat cancer I think that will have taken its toll on his looks
