Poor ds has got a sickness bug and I thought he was blagging me !
Yesterday morning he started with the "I feel sick' before school, i thought he was trying to get a day off as his friend had been off the day before with a cold. Then yesterday at school they tried Jewish foods in a lesson, last night my ds said he couldn't stop thinking about the beetroot that he tried and how it was making him feel sick (now ds is autistic and does have looping thoughts when something gets 'stuck' in his head and he can't stop thinking about it)
So I'm all just stop thinking about it get back into bed you're fine! A couple of hours later I'm woken up by him shaking telling me he's just been sick, go into his room and there is a pile of vomit next to his bed, I feel bloody awful! He's been sick every couple of hours all night, he also has a fever.
So thinking back to yesterday morning ds saying he felt sick was probably the early stages of this bug and I totally ignored him.
Has anyone else ever thought their dc was pulling a fast one when actually they were genuinely poorly ??
