What chores have you done this weekend?

I don’t feel like I’ve done much at all.

washing x 2
dishwasher x 2
made beds
hoovered downstairs (small house)
tidied and wiped round kitchen
put some clothes away
wiped round bathroom

That’s the very basics done so we can eat from clean dishes and have clean clothes to wear on Monday.

I wish I could motivate myself to do a lot more eg decluttering dc’s bedroom, cleaning the sink properly, mopping the floors, tidying the porch area, going to the tip with the stuff in the garden, taking a bag to the charity shop, washing the car.

I know it’s Mother’s Day but I’m the same every weekend!

I vacuumed downstairs and the stairs, prepared meals and washed up, shopped and put away, made the bed. Yesterday I dusted downstairs, cleaned the loo and sink. Brought the bin back in. That's it - I'm a slovenly slattern.

Now that’s a job that doesn’t get done very often around here (aka never) - cleaning the bins. Ditto cleaning the oven!

nothing at all due to feeling rubbish. Still need to wash a uniform, unblock the toilet. (mothers day gift from DD 😄) and hopefully sort my linen. Tomorrow the real work starts as the boiler packed in and every room is in chaos. everything in the middle of the rooms for new pipes to be put in.

Im actually too emotionally drained to care right now.
