Am I okay leaving my cats alone overnight?

I have 2 cats who are 1.
Wednesday I have been invited to a works awards night which would mean I will have to leave the cats from 3pm Wednesday night till 10am Thursday morning.
I obviously will feed and leave them water etc
I leave them normally for 11 hours a day when I go to work and they are fine ..I've just never left them overnight before so I'm a bit worried
My dad (who normally has them ) is on holiday and the local cattery is full (tbh I don't really want them to go there anyway) as they are indoor cats and are happy in their own home.

I’ve done this loads of times!

I would make sure they have a clean litter tray each (add a second one even if they are usually happy to share), several water bowls in case one is knocked over and an extra big bowl of dry food in addition to their usual dinner portion.

Yeah I'd be fine with this, but my cats hate strangers in the house and the cattery even more! So we only get a cat sitter if we go for more than a few nights.

Another one with the automatic feeders for the wet food and plenty of bowls of water and food left out. I also have an indoor camera. 😂

It’ll be fine. Ideally ask a neighbour to pop in to do the veneing food. If no neighbour available, leave extra food as they’ll be bored. This does run the risk that they may overeat and puke but that isn’t the end of the world.

Have left my cats with a cat feeder often. Once they got bored of dry food and caught their own and dismembered it all over the kitchen (what a mess!) but mostly is fine

Yes. They'll be ok.

apart from a bit of sulking when we get home!

This in spades.
