Embarrassing fanny farts

NCed for this one. I'm 44 and in a senior corporate role.

For the last year I've been struggling with really loud embarrassing fanny farts. They usually happen when I've been sitting for a while and I can't stop them.

It's awful because I'm walking off to get a cuppa or go into a meeting and a loud fanny fart will come out, obviously the men assume it's a normal fart.

Weirdly it never happens at home.

Oh the joys of being a woman! Does anyone else have this problem and what helped?!!

Why is it unbelievable that a middle aged woman is having gynae problems. I'm also going through peri menopause but maybe that's hilarious too! 😡

@Ohthejoyous no, I've read about issues similar to the one a previous poster refers to but I just can't bring myself to make the appointment. Am not easily embarrassed but I am about this (not being helped by others thinking its a joke!)

Thread sounds familiar- a similar one was deleted earlier today but it involved a thong as well
