For the cupboard it's worth grabbing some of their own brand range, they have cereals, baked beans and other stuff like that for the same price as aldi and its lovely. They also have the cheapest chicken legs/thighs if that's your thing!

For the good stuff...sign up online for the sparks card if you don't have one and you should get a voucher for some free sweets- get some cola colins!

Love you a latte chocolates
Garlic bread made fresh in store
Bannoffee hot cross buns
Frozen cookies
Pizza deal (2 pizzas and 2 sides for 12 quid and delicious- think it's still that anyway!)
Yum yums
Panda bao buns
Their wraps etc are lovely but also pricey

duck legs in plum sauce
tubs of millionaire shortbread bites
Chinese chicken with lemon sauce

mintich · 11/03/2023 17:13

Their fragrances! They have some amazing dupes, and some gorgeous original fragrances too. I'm obsessed with them

Do you never ask people for recommendations?

I do, but not as helplessly as this. I use my brain, decide that I need a pair of jeans for example and then ask for recommendations. I don’t just vaguely ask about the entire contents of a shop without any indication of my likes/wants/requirements etc

Alltheproductsnoidea · 11/03/2023 17:37

Small prawn pasta salad! Perfect for lunch

Chorizo crisps

Prawn dip according to my kids!

Mini cheeses

Their gastro range!

Alltheproductsnoidea · 11/03/2023 17:38

Chicken and chorizo empanadas!

WellTidy · 11/03/2023 17:41

The garlic dough balls that have herby garlic butter inside. Come in a pack of 12. They’re part of the two pizzas and two sides £12 deal.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 11/03/2023 18:12

@Ohshitiveturnedintomymother there are often threads on here saying what should I get in IKEA, if OP doesn’t live near an M and S maybe she’s happy to look at all recommendations, especially if she’s not been for a while and doesn’t know what they are currently doing. If you don’t want to help move on and piss on someone else’s chips, or proffer a suggestion?
OP the Cornish Cruncher cheddar is divine.

Well aren’t you superior! Give yourself a pat on the back.

👏🎖️

ReedRite · 11/03/2023 18:24

Their fresh stuffed pastas are good and have a long fridge life, so really handy to have in as a stand by.

Olives
big prawns in chilli
crab pate
salmon in soy, ginger and chilli
chocolate mini rolls
Swiss Mountain bar (Toblerone copy but nicer)
Frites

Crikeyalmighty · 11/03/2023 18:27

@mintich I've got one from a few years ago that smells very similar to Chloe roses- and people have frequently stopped me and asked what it is

Right. But if I asked for recommendations for jeans, nobody would have mentioned that bang bang dip etc. Whereas if I ask "helplessly" then I get a wide variety of answers. And now I've added things to my list that I never would have thought of, from perfume to dips to chocolate.

Thanks everyone for the helpful comments!

I love their pots of deli foods - especially the stuffed olives, sun-dried tomatoes and roast artichokes in oil.

The orange and pomegranate granola is delicious.

Will always buy their knickers, tights and socks, obvs.
