Is there any snow in Hailsham, East Sussex?

My 11 year old is on a residential there, we couldn’t find his winter coat before he left so am feeling very guilty at the moment!

I'm sorry to say it's very cold this morning in East Sussex - only a little wet snow but wind chill is making it feel like minus 5

he’s got thermals, t shirt, jumpers hat scarf gloves etc and his football training coat which he insists is really warm… just have to hope he’s staying active enough not to feel cold too much
