Help me lose a kilo in 2 weeks

Is it possible? I have a big event with lots of friends I haven't seen since pre-kids in 2 weeks and am feeling really self conscious.

I think if I lost a kilo it would really help. I am about 3 kilos over my ideal weight, which even though is not a lot, is making me look a lot bigger coupled with how my bodyshape has changed since pregnancy (and I am quite short)

How strict do I need to be to lose this much in a short period of time? I eat healthily but my downfall is constant snacking when working from home. How do I stop myself?

Also OP you just inspired me to make a big pot of soup so thank you!

This is very doable, OP. I've just done it myself.
Cut out bread, butter, spreads.

Delay eating breakfast for as long as possible. Have a green tea or black tea with milk.

Breakfast: porridge with water, fresh berries, chia, a few nuts.
Or a Greek yogurt instead of porridge, same toppings. A passion fruit sweetens it.

Lunch: a boiled egg or two, a whole avocado or veg/chicken soup with added chick peas. Filling & tasty.

Dinner: soup again, maybe lentil or chicken/veg.

Forgot to add:

A juicy orange cut into segments will satisfy a sweet tooth after dinner.

NHS approved diet. Strictly a liver reduction diet used before bariatric surgery. You have 4 pints of milk, a day 4 x Miller, light, yoghurt and a Bovril and that's it every day for two weeks you will lose the best part of a stone.

After 5 days I seem to be 600 grams lighter, super pleased with it! I also feel much better, mainly due to being so much less bloated! I hadn't realised that I was bloated 24/7 before, probably through too many carbs.
It's actually been really easy to eat less, and once I stopped having sugar I didn't fancy it at all anymore.
I didn't do anything crazy beside stopping snacks (unless it's a boiled egg or something) and treats, and having breakfast as late as possible (11am some days). That's cut my calories down massively without leaving me starving.

Hopefully I'll be down 1.5 kgs by the time of the event. Thanks for all the advice!

That's great OP! Keep it going.
I have got used to having one main meal a day, no bread now for several weeks, and like you feel less bloated. For lunch today I just had a tin of sardines and a cup of tea but it'll keep me going until dinner. Admittedly I did have breakfast until 10am.

it’s only a little over a 1lb a week so very doable.

Cur out mid morning snack, swap out milk on latte for semi and reduce evening meal to one carb and you shoudl
easily lose 2kg.

Well done OP, keep going!
