Men posting on a female subject thread puts me off.

I confess I do have another name on munsnet but I use that for a highly personal subject I have contributed to for a long time. It is more of a support group. Until recently we believed we were all women. Some regular posters have been in abusive relationships and most vulnerable.
We have a new male contributor to the thread. Sadly I think I know the person in RL. Socially this person told me I was really easy to find and he had read through my whole journey (that freaked me out). I don't engage with him but I am getting the ick.
My DH would have no interest in being on a female dominated social media site. Any thoughts, am I being paranoid? Naturally I can't prove it's him.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. He sounds awful (as does his wife). But realistically this is a site for parents. It's not a women only site. It's not for any of us to dictate that fathers shouldn't avail themselves of the same parenting support that we get.

It's unfortunate that when this site was created, it was called Mumsnet. It leads to unrealistic and mistaken expectations.

I think you’re conflating two issues- men posting, and people recognising people IRL and “outing” them.

I don’t have a problem with men posting at all.

I do have a problem with people of either sex being creepy or stalkerish.
