It looks like a class photograph, where they do the kids in groups and photoshop them together afterwards.

Mary is not at the table, that’s a Dan Brown version
Peter and all of the deciples are trying to work out who is going to betray Jesus.

I went to see this in Milan last year. The triangles are to do with the number 3, representing the Holy Trinity. There are 3 windows as well, and Jesus Himself is a triangle shape.

I can't unsee Mary instead of John at the table either - I've read Da Vinci Code too many times 😆. I love this painting; it tells such a story in just the one still.

I honestly didn't know anyone thought Mary was at the Last Supper.

My dad had a paint shop and every weeks a chap would come in for a tin if white paint. After a few months my dad asked what he was needing so much white paint for.
the chap said,‘The last supper painting isn’t so good, so I’m repainting it. I’m going to give it to a museum when I die. I just can’t get the white tablecloth right.’ Bless!
