@FindingMyselfIn2023 I was going to suggest you try it out on him first...if he's ok after an hour or so, then you should be too. Grin

It is also likely had lots of preservatives added to it to extend that shelf life, which homemade food does not have!

Sugar, fat and salt are part of that. And you can buy ready meals without rubbish in them, they dont all have long lists of unrecognisable ingredients in them

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/02/2023 12:19

I wouldn't even think twice about it. I'm sure it will be fine if it was thoroughly cooked in the first place and not left in warm place for a long time before going into the fridge.

rexythedinosaur · 20/02/2023 12:46

Depends:

  • Is it a ready meal (if so, I wouldn't eat it at this point)
  • If cooked from scratch, does it include meat and/ or cheese (if so, it might be OK but definitely give it a sniff)

I think today is the last day I would risk it.

20viona · 20/02/2023 13:00

Urgh no way

Minikievs · 20/02/2023 13:05

I have a food business but when at home I am much less strict.
Generally I use or freeze within
3 days for meat dishes.
3-4 days for veg and vegetable side dishes.
That saying, it’ll probably be fine. You might just do extra smelly farts for a couple of days.

Cornelious2011 · 20/02/2023 17:06

I would eat it. I'd probably eat it tomorrow too.
