Any bath bombs that measure up to Lush?

DC2 is in love with them (spent her birthday money on them 🙄) but she's run out now.

Anything similar but cheaper or do I need to up her pocket money to fund her bath bomb habit?

In my (not particularly extensive) experience, the Lush ones are the best. Cheaper ones I've tried didn't seem to smell as nice, didn't create the same amount of bubbles, and didn't really have anything that interesting about them - they were all very samey and made a few unimpressive bubbles, but nothing that made them particularly enjoyable to use.

Lush ones are more expensive but I reckon smell a lot nicer and generally you get more of an 'experience' out of them. The bubble bars are good as you can break them into smaller pieces and use them for multiple baths. I suppose it depends on how fussy your daughter is and if she'd rather quality or quantity, but I'd personally rather one Lush bath bomb over three cheaper ones!

Maybe encourage her to make her own?

There are some decent eco kits available.

Ones that I think exceed Lush bathbombs imo are Miss Patisserie but they have just announced a rejig of their company so not sure if you can get them any more. They really are a far nicer smell and much nicer on my dds skin. She finds the Lush ones irritate it, but that might be to do with containing cocoa butter which she reacts to.
Just checked the website and they have taken it down while they do the refurb but you can buy them here lovethical.com/collections/miss-patisserie

Portside Soap Company is a business local to me. They have a website. Their products are absolutely amazing.

I struggle to buy anything from Lush as I disagree with a lot of their politics, but DS loves their bath bombs and bubble bars - I think the bubble bars are quite good value as they're huge and you only need a small chunk per bath.

Bomb cosmetics? My daughter likes lush but thinks their stuff is nice too. She actually buys their advent calendar every January to stock up!

If you buy the bigger lush bubble bars (e.g. the comforter, the CBD one, blue skies and white fluffy clouds) you can break them into 4 easily and get 4 good baths out of them. I rarely get the bombs now. Even the smaller ones can go 3/4 baths.

Wild olive ones are lovely.
