It’s half term this week here in Northern Ireland. I thought half term was the same week for all schools across the country?

Yes SE Londk. And I've just come back from a day out in London and it was RAMMED.

Not in my area of Scotland yet but we only tend to get a long weekend rather than a full week off and this is the only term they actually call it a mid-term break, other terms just have usual bank holiday long weekends and some don't have anything at all.

But we border Notts and judging by the amount of kids in Morrisons at lunch I’d say they might be off this week.

The team in midlands organised a big directorate wide event for this week but did not bank on it being half term for most of the teams elsewhere and attendance will consequently be less than ideal. We did tell them as soon as they sent out the date, they didn’t think to check in advance!

Essex, my DD returned to (state) school 9th Jan and is now on Feb half term. Historically it's delays this week here.
