I have an uneasy feeling something big is coming.
I'd love it to be life from another planet. It's exciting but nerve racking at the same time.

That would be the very worst news the human race could possibly receive.

That object was apparently a small ball traveling at around 7000 feet. I suspect the video is showing the missile they sent up to the ball to destroy it. It was possibly a drone, there are many used militarily in this region.

Afaik, these objects in the USA are quite different. Larger, and higher. The balloon over Alaska was flying almost ten times that high.

Teaandtoast3 · 13/02/2023 01:08

Long shot but I take it none of you are in China and can confirm they really do have a UFO?

I did not have UFO'S on my 2023 bingo card! It's all a bit strange, the USA don't fuck around and the world knows this, any country sending "flying objects" to American airspace would know they'd be shot down. Why do it? To test the response times?

Teaandtoast3 · 13/02/2023 01:12

This is the only thing I can find on China (visual wise)

I saw this on Twitter earlier

3 separate captures in Alaska I think.

Usually I am sceptical, but this is worth a watch.

Read the Twitter thread. That was the Goodyear blimp over New Jersey.

PToosher · 13/02/2023 01:22

Assuming these things are some sort of technology, putting flying spy devices in US airspace is an act of provocation.

So either 'they' are:

  • Foreign nation looking to provoke a response
  • A false flag US military action
  • A nation attempting an incompetent spying op
  • A non-human intelligence
  • Other...

I may or may not 😑lurk on Flight Radar from time to time and see these big balloons all the time. I believe they have been described as weather balloons.
That's not to say they aren't aliens or Chinese spy ships but they have been flying around for years, Just saying ..

PToosher · 13/02/2023 01:30

I'm guessing that the US military have started shooting them down suggests they aren't weather balloons.

Wetblanket78 · 13/02/2023 01:37

More to the point though where are they getting the helium? 🤔

Teaandtoast3 · 13/02/2023 01:38

Apparently only one was a balloon… the rest they aren’t balloons but they don’t know what they are

JaneJeffer · 13/02/2023 01:42

Anyone watching Rihanna at the SB floating around on a platform? I was worried she was going to trip on the hem of her coat and fall off

Brilliant article, thanks for posting.

Sliversands · 13/02/2023 02:01

Anyone watching Flighradar, there is a navy aircraft been circling for the last hour or so East of Jacksonville. Interested in whether this is usual!

Soapnutty · 13/02/2023 02:08

Sounds like Chinese surveillance

“The United States has said the balloons were part of a “fleet” that has spanned five continents. Some analysts say it may be the start of a major Chinese surveillance effort targeting foreign military capabilities ahead of possible acute tensions over Taiwan in coming years.”

I’m in China, and I’ve had a look and can’t find any report of any of it in the news. Either the ones in America or the one that’s been said to be in China. Which makes me wonder whether they are behind it. Their technology here is incredible, it wouldn’t surprise me if they were several steps ahead of the rest of the world. Maybe sending several to ensure nobody can prove it’s them? Or sending several in a way makes them look more innocent - we sent the first and you called us out so why would we send more different ones? You know?

Trez1510 · 13/02/2023 02:42

Cosmic parents are reported to have grounded their children who thought playing 'pooh-sticks' in Earth's orbit would be 'funny' ......

It's weird because although, variously, I'm a panicker, a conspiracy theorist and a prepper, I am yet to find one fuck to give about this situation.

The closest to interest I've come to it is pondering:

a) what they are hiding by having folks focus on this, or
b) if it's an 'Archduke' moment (false flag to trigger WW3), or
c) they still can't land on the moon and this is now a 'reason' not to do so.

Anyway, I just can't get excited about it.

EpicChaos · 13/02/2023 02:44

Not sure why they're bothering tbh - a quick look on facebook and they'll find everything they want to know on there, along with a ton of useless gossip lol.

greenacrylicpaint · 13/02/2023 06:03

I wonder if future objects are filled with something nasty that then rains down atan area when shot down.

BeginningToLookALotLike · 13/02/2023 06:14

So bio-terrorism, aliens, or highly advanced surveillance technology. Great start to the week.

Forever42 · 13/02/2023 07:09

If it was aliens why are these things predominantly over the USA? Do they somehow magically know that it is the land of greatest importance so they can ignore the rest of the world? Have they watched Independence Day?

All aliens know that America IS the most superior of all superior things and therefore will only play hide and seek in their airspace. It would be pointless appearing anywhere else.
Plus, they have been anally probing random Americans from remote communities for years so they know they are the most fun!

They’ve adjusted their radar to see smaller objects. Most of the rest of the world hasn’t done that or perhaps does not have the capability.

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 13/02/2023 07:48

I do find it weird that this isn't bigger news.

I did laugh at 'season 3 getting interesting'

Are they visible from the ground?
