Stupid things I need to know about looking after a baby

How do I get me and baby into my car in the morning if it's icy and I need to defrost it?

Re sling I'd wait to buy until baby is born. DD was absolutely tiny even though she was 2 weeks late and too small weight wise for a lot of carriers.
