Toys Reunited- what is it all about?

Excuse my ignorance, but just wondered what this topic is about- reuniting long lost toys with their owners? Please enlighten me- and I may be able to contribute!

here and here although I think in the end the original was found behind the washing machine or perhaps fridge.

And there was I thinking I had made it on to the intriguing list. Oh, well, back to lurking.

I remember Strawberry! That was the one found behind the washing machine in the end wasn't it?
Because of that thread I posted on here when ds lost his favourite bear (a Tesco 2005 model) and managed to buy a replacement from a kind mnetter!
