I can't drive at night

Just got home from seeing a friend, journey took much longer as I had to keep slowing down because oncoming lights of traffic were blinding me.

Last year I have not liked driving at night, this evening was first time in a few months and it seemed so much worse. Anyone else feel like this?

I was on the A303 and A358 which I found hardest, then on the M5 which was ok.

I got some of these lenses from Costco at the weekend as was having trouble driving at night. It's definitely made a difference for me, not sure how much yet as haven't driven loads at night since getting them.

They weren't cheap though.

I have no problems with my eyes (v recent eye test confirmed) but I have huge problems driving at night. Add in rain and I really hate it. The glare from streetlights and headlights combined makes me very unsure.

Yes I hate it, especially down country roads.
car lights nowadays are so intense that you can barely see and I find myself tensing up.
I was a passenger in a serious car accident 10 years ago so my anxiety is terrible and my nerves really get to me.
Iv been driving 7 years myself but only really drive when needed.
problem is as well is that so many people drive like crazy on the roads and motorways, it’s scary.
only the other day one guy decided to swerve across lanes on the motorway doing probably not far off of 100mph. Absolutely insane and dangerous!
