Blocking porn adverts on YouTube

Is there any way to do this? For me and the kids! Just got a really nasty strangulation video advert that none of us want to see. 😔

Shorts are a bit of a clusterfuck atm, but click the three dots and report. Ad block won't help if it was a short with a link rather than an ad.

That is horrible, I spend a lot of time on you tube and have never had this. Ads are very targeted, I can guarantee that if I search for something it will pop up as an add. My normal ads are Jewellery, fashion, horses but after I reached for travel Insurance I got these ads.
