@gabsdot45 your name doesn't begin with H does it?

Letthecarhuntbegin · 24/01/2023 23:04

My dreams. I dream every night and remember them in vivid details. They always have intricate plots which bore entertain my family and friends!

Beefstew · 24/01/2023 23:33

In the local area I grew up in I'm well known for having a quite rare medical disorder.

In the area I live in now I'm known as the mother of the 3 autistic brothers.

Being the only UK national with my name, and less than 400 world-wide - according to forebears/io.

SouperNoodle · 25/01/2023 00:21

For doing the voice over on a series of tv and radio adverts about 10 years ago

My right eye is in a Moorfields Eye Hospital training video for their (wonderful) doctors 😂

I hope they let you keep your eye!😀

When I was registered blind my certificate of visual impairment (CVI) was sent to Moorfields (as they all are, because Moorfields keep records of all causes of severe sight impairment and partially sighted conditions). When they received my CVI they had never come across this condition BEFORE so had to contact my local eye consultant, neuro-optical professor and related neurologist to verify it; so I am the only person in GB with this particular eye condition that caused me to lose my sight.

It has been written about in 3 journals. I'd rather be famous/known about for my achievements, an not afflictions!

ReformedWaywardTeen · 26/01/2023 09:40

My music playlists at parties and my coleslaw recipe.

Thankfully yes they did! Nice to be able to help with training / education / research at least… despite the affliction!

phew that's good to hear.

it is rewarding to either take part in research (I've done a lot) or help with training isn't it.

Withering put downs. I'm Malcolm Tucker in a dress.

CrepuscularCat · 26/01/2023 12:58

As a very junior Civil Servant in the 70s, I unwittingly - and at separate times, of course! - met two murderers in connection with benefit claims.

The first was arrested about a year later, and turned out to be a serial killer. The second had served a surprisingly short sentence in a psychiatric hospital after killing his wife, had been released and had called in to collect his giro.

As far as I can recall, they both seemed completely normal.

Hi Op

I am well known locally for. being intuitive fundraising skills

I am also well known for being extremely intuitive at my former work place, and other places I frequent.

with surprising 😮 results .

Good at psychometry ect.

Good at being intuitive at looking at photos and 🎨 Art pieces and intuitively picking sensing unseen

I.

Goodread1 · 26/01/2023 13:15

Being so intuitive has had one unfortunate drawback, as I have lost friend , who was freaked out how intuitive I was,

So. Just ignores me when she sees me or pretends she is too busy to talk to me for a few minutes

Olive19741205 · 26/01/2023 16:37

Reading upside down

I can do this, I thought everyone could. Have I had a talent all this time that I didn't know about?

ohyouknowwhatshername · 18/03/2023 18:24

Being on the cover of a Chemical Brothers CD in the 90s. I'm standing outside a church in the distance and you need a magnifying glass to see me.. but still, I'm there!

Zuffe · 18/03/2023 21:52

I was on the main TV news and papers in the early 1980’s when I turned 22. The image of me and two others is occasionally replayed as part of the backdrop in documentaries. Many people here will recall the picture.

It is just the human shape and profile you see of me, looking down. I am never identified. Only my closest family and friend know it was me.

Nothing dodgy I might add. I was just one of those there.

Goodread1 · 18/03/2023 22:07

Hi Op

I am relatively well known in what seems like a past life now, so long ago, for my sporting prowess,

Also I am increasingly becoming well known for my intuitive skills abilities,

I am good at doing psychomentry, ect,

My intuitive skills are often the talk of the places wherever I go,
quite Often I was asked to give intuitive readings doing break times or after work doing mundane run of mll job,
As a proffessional guests rooms cleaner at a very well known budget hotel,

I have either intrigued or freaked out a couple of friends cause of how good intuitive skills have been

TheHateIsNotGood · 18/03/2023 22:10

Topless Wrestling, Greco-Roman, no mud involved - I featured in Amazons magazine in the mid-80s.

RosesforMama · 18/03/2023 22:15

A presentation I gave on a subject that I am a leading UK expert in is returned as the number one search on Google when the key words are entered.

newtb · 19/03/2023 12:36

Being the only British person with my name, and being the only person in France with the name despite it being French-Canadian.
