Light hearted, but of course, any massive a-list celebrities lurking here on MN are welcome to respond Wink

I'm envious

Be careful what you wish for....

Spottypaperdoll · 23/01/2023 09:06

Not famous as such but I am proud of my work for females in the sneaker industry

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 23/01/2023 09:16

A former Tory cabinet minister’s wife fished my poo out of the bath.

I sold her the butterfly net that she used when doing it; I think you'll find that I'm the truly famous one here! Grin

I make amazing cakes (if I do say so myself). I have been mentioned by name on some threads (my real name).

GoodnightJude1 · 23/01/2023 09:21

My hair. It’s very long and possibly the only nice thing about me.

IDontWantToBeAPie · 23/01/2023 10:25

@Iwritethissittinginthekitchensink not saying! But yes they were Tory

Nope, it was loo roll; I was 2 years old and blamed it on my 4 year old brother.

I was in The Sun, the subject of a very silly 'heartwarming' story, on the page between an armed robber and a paedophile.

They had interviewed me in advance (our local paper got in touch with them without my knowledge), but they were such talented journalists that they didn't need to be lazy and just report the actual words that I'd said to them, but they were clever enough to be able to make up some completely different quotes 'from me' all by themselves.

Also, my arm was on Brookside once - they were filming at Alton Towers on the day I'd gone there with school, and I was partially caught right in the very edge of a low-level shot. To this day, I still have to go out wearing dark glasses like Bono whenever I leave the house, to avoid getting mobbed.

Your Brookside one reminds me…..

I’m the blonde hair bouncing up and down in
a 90s aerial shot of James’ Sit down at either Glastonbury or Reading

I’ve been considering getting myself a ‘talent’ signing desk at Comic-Con’s

We could share as I won’t be able to fill a desk myself yet with enough pictures:

I’ve got so far:
TV:
Vapourised by UFO
Knealing person *
Bouncing head in crowd
Blurred figure in smoke during TV show opening credits

Print:
Product photo model (face covered)

  • Knealing figure hiding in the corner of the widescreen version of a TV programme when I went to chase up the interviewer & our expert for lunch but spotted they were still filming

We are winning at life @SoupDragon!

Maybe we should start a kind of ready steady cook thread where we select from the list of items we are all the biggest buyers of and see what delight we can whip up for tea!

poorpaws · 24/01/2023 08:11

My dogs. I've had dogs all my life and wherever I live I'm known as the dog woman or crazy dog lady and people don't recognise me if I'm not with them.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 24/01/2023 09:42

Being able to play the William Tell Overture on my teeth.
My extremely puerile sense of humour.
My wibbly-wobbly ankles.

AffIt · 24/01/2023 10:56

Mintakan · 22/01/2023 19:48

I’m famous in my niche job.

People recognise me on the street only if they’re either interested in my subject or need my consulting.

Are you Sherlock Holmes?

ArmyofMunn · 24/01/2023 19:43

For having a very embarrassing Mumsnet post go viral in about 45 minutes (Australia, LA, you name it)!

It was about four years ago and I laughed about it to some friends the next day and they found it!

ArmyofMunn · 24/01/2023 19:45

I was also in the Pop Will Eat Itself alternative World Cup song video in 1990!

LightDrizzle · 24/01/2023 19:46

My Yorkshire Puddings.

WhatHaveIFound · 24/01/2023 19:51

Logistics!

I'm a whizz at finding flights/travel to odd places.

gabsdot45 · 24/01/2023 19:55

For loving the colour ♥️ red. I just love it. I have a lot of red clothes, there is a lot of red in my house. I'm drawn to red. Everyone I know, knows this about me. It's my thing

Do you ride?

I’ll guess that you aren’t named it the song title, otherwise you may have led with a different claim to fame …… such as having been a politician ???
