Not sure why but I seem to be more sensitive. Unless he's a lot louder. But either way his snoring is keeping me awake and I'm having to sleep in another room. So has anyone found a decent solution please?

As someone who once shoved my DH so hard when he was snoring he fell out of bed I feel your pain. He lost weight which helps a lot. Alcohol makes it worse but sleeping on his side lessens it (I nudge him if he's on his back so he turns over), Boots Muffles wax ear plugs are good, and as a last resort there's always the spare room.

I could tell exactly the same thing about my husband. God, his snoring is vile after alcohol. I would kill him if he was keen drinker.

Very glad to find this thread.

Amazingly I’d never heard of Bose Sleep Buds before. I couldn’t see from a quick google that there’s a release date for the Mark 3 yet, but I’ll be ready and waiting when they drop.

I can't recommend them enough. I cba fannying on in the middle of the night going to a freezing cold spare room and these just drown out annoying 2am snores. You can set a timer on them too. I recommend 'warm static' it s a nice shhhh noise, some of the others are a bit jarring sounding imo.

Bose let you try in the shop and you might thing well these won't work but they do!

Mine got a sleep study and was recommended a mouth guard, didn't work and then got a cpap machine, which is glorious, I sleep in silence now and have no murderous thoughts!

Thanks @Janiie I have ADHD and “brown” noise has been proven to be relaxing and promote sleep did people with ADHD. So maybe the Bose air buds will kill two birds with one stone… before I kill DH Grin

@funnyoldonion - can I ask you how you knew what size loop quiet ear plugs to order? Says they come in 4 sizes and I have no idea what size I should go for.

Also do you feel them at all when you lay on your side? Thanks for your help.

Sorry @Liz1tummypain only just seen your message! I just bought the standard loop ear plugs, they come with two other sizes you can change but I left the original size! I’m a side sleeper and they are very comfortable. The trick is to push them down so they create like a little vacuum. You can hear your own heart beating in your own little works it’s lovely and surreal and I can’t even hear people talking to me! Which is great! Ha! Definitely recommend

A mouth guard for the snorer and Boots wax earplugs (whole) for me. And also HRT, which is making me sleep much better.
