What time do you have your main meal of the day?

I have taken to eating my main meal of the day at lunchtime and then in the evening I will just have something light like toast, a bowl of cereal or porridge or fruit and yogurt. It suits my digestion and if dc is in school, I get to eat in peace!

I know a lot of people don’t get the choice if they work long hours (I used to) but I prefer to eat more in the daytime than the evening. What time do you tend to eat and does it suit you?

By choice, I'd always have the main meal at lunchtime.
I LOVE a lunch out.

In reality, it doesn't fit with my work usually, so we mostly have our main meal together at tea time.

I to would opt for lunch time most days. I rarely eat breakfast so I'm hungrier than average by then. However, work, life etc doesn't often allow for that so if it has to be evening, 1900 is best for me.

In my ideal schedule, I have a large brunch 10am-ish, and tea equivalent or just a touch lighter 4pm-ish. 3 meals and it feels like I barely get a break from preparing and washing up! At the moment I mostly have a handful of breakfast cereal as I leave the house, main meal is a cooked lunch, and we just have a very light dinner. DH is generally home at lunchtime and that’s when he eats most. On days he works through or is working further away I please myself, and if I’m cooking make enough that there is a portion for his dinner if he wants .
