Ravenclaw.

Pottermore had me in Slytherin, but as we all know, the sorting hat takes into account your preferences, so it'll be Ravenclaw for me, thank you very much!

Gryffindor. Married to a Hufflepuff with 4DC, one of each house. We’ve tested them all Grin

DC1 is Slytherin
DC2 Hufflepuff
DC3 Gryffindor
DC4 Ravenclaw

Pottermore says I'm a Griffindor, but I feel like a Ravenclaw.

Proud Slytherin 🐍!!!! I'm also a Capricorn (major slytherin vibes) and nearly share a birthday with Voldemort ... sorry , "he who must not be named"!

Slytherin. I'm not ambitious or cunning so think it must be down to not really liking people very much. Well, people as a whole that is, individual ones can be lovely, but given the choice I'd usually rather be on my own...or with a cat.

Ravenclaw, with a Slytherin DP and Ravenclaw DD.

😕

Funnily enough I’m aware it isn’t real. I was just bringing up an interesting point that’s always niggled me when reading the books.

I thought a huge thing that was taken from the stories was "I sometimes think we sort too soon" - was that Dumbledore? Either way, the Sorting Hat wasn't happy about having to sort at 11, it caused nothing but division. I think the sorting at 11 is meant to illustrate the inherent difficulties in labelling children that young rather than to support it.

I know, I was more saying isn’t it surprising that they’re so evenly divided? I would think there would be a bias towards Hufflepuff, because in reality most people are likely to be ‘the rest!’ It’s surprising that there’s such an even divide of cunning ambitious children, brave children, intelligent children, and then the exact same amount for the rest.
