Has anyone else's hayfever started already?

I have tree pollen hayfever that has got really bad since I had (probable) covid in March 2020. My eyes get really itchy, extremely red and swollen, constant sneezing, nose so blocked from swelling I cannot breathe through it at all.

Last year it started up on 1st Feb. A few days ago I thought I had an eye infection as one of my eyes was extremely itchy and red. Got eye drops and made no difference. Now both eyes are really itchy and swollen so I think it must be my hayfever starting.

I have a nasal spray and eye drops prescribed from the GP which are strong and help a lot (too ages to find the right medication) so I'm going to start them today.

Just wondering if anyone else's hayfever is starting even earlier this year?

I always get it early but was surprised how suddenly it came on at the weekend. Feel like I have a brick on my face. Worse out in the country. Much better back in the city. Good old pollution.

I too have early signs of hayfever I think once the early signs of spring are coming this is when it starts.

Ohhh… is that what this is. A week of itchy eyes and two days of occasional sneezing, and I hadn't twigged.

It seems like every year, my hayfever comes as a complete surprise to me.

Always starts in second half of Feb for me. Been sneezing like a mofo the last 2 days and nose itching like I want to rip it from my fave. It's begun...

Same! Thought it was the cat but I can relate. This is def a time of year I sneeze, this and mid August. Don’t know why though!

Yes, it started 2 days ago, my eyes are itchy and I sneeze all the time.

Ahhh... You are my people... My eyes started itching last night and my Mum said it couldn't be hayfever yet!! I'll start on my antihistamines and eye drops. Thankyou...
