In need of a soothing thread! Really going through it with DD14. I’ve had a day off work today so that’s been good. Ready meal defrosting for tea ( beef stew & dumplings) & will do peas with it. DH will have beans on toast or maybe an omelette as we have eggs going out of date. Lots of tv to catch up with as I keep falling asleep! Call The Midwife, Doctors, The Apprentice & Doc Martin Christmas Special. Treated myself to a lovely bouquet today (carnations, lilies, gerberas & a rose) & enjoying looking at them on the kitchen table.

OH is in the kitchen cooking dinner, DD is in the "playroom" (she's a bit old to call it that now, but the name has stuck) playing games on her computer, and I'm sat on the sofa MNing with the cat asleep on my lap. Well, she was until the flash woke her up...

Waiting on my new niece or nephew to be born. All sorted for school tomorrow. One child in bed the other has put YouTube on the tv so we can all watch The Sidemen. Hot cuppa in hand, a few biscuits and feeling excited.

Watching the sting man final. In temporary accommodation between a house move and after some family issues. So feel stressed and knackered. On the sofa with my partner after being in the office. Think I'll have a cbd drink and some ice cream soon, while buying some bit in the sainsburys sale.

Laying in bed feeling sorry for myself as my methotrexate injection has made me feel really sick and also stings like a bitch. DD just gone to bed, all animals snuggled down for the night and DH is downstairs making me a cup of tea and trying to find me some plain crisps. Going to watch the last episode of Firefly Lane and aim for a relatively early night

Just this.... enjoying the fire, not really watching tv, waiting for my kiddo to get in from work.

DS8 is asleep upstairs, while the cats are trying their best to wake him up with a case of the zoomies. Sounds like a heard of elephants going up and down the hall.
DH is out so I am taking the opportunity to watch something he wouldn’t fancy on the Netflix. Watching ‘The Nest’ which is alright bit predictable.

Just did some exercise, kids in bed, DH watching football downstairs. I’m laying on my bed watching Series 3 of Love is blind on Netflix drinking wine. Had a hospital test today and trying not to worry about the result.

I'm so happy just watching telly with my kids home; mostly everything tidied, you can't but mrs e of mind can you

My friend and her dog visited this afternoon and we had tea and crumpets by the fire, with the Snooker on in the background.
After spag bol for dinner, more Snooker, with a glass of Merlot.
DH has a dreadful cold, so he is keeping away from me in his den, with the big puppy. It also stops her from jumping all over the old labs sprawled at my feet, who want a bit of peace this time of night, although Lab 1 has begun her nightly singing, at the thought of her pre-bed biscuit.
I have some admin to do later, so I will listen to the programme on the Shipping Forecast on Sounds while I'm doing it, thank you Vintagevixen.

Having a cup of decaf tea in bed, gonna brush my teeth then wriggle around in bed for a few hours before dropping off to sleep. I think I can hear ds 10 in his bedroom playing football with a cuddly toy. Wondering whether I should go in and tell him to stop or wait to see if he stops first. Trying to stop myself from biting my nail that is slightly wonky and annoying me!
