Must visit places in the UK

I haven't really seen any of the UK. I've lived in South Yorkshire, Cambridge and Norfolk. Holidays have always been local, or France.

I dobt have much of a budget, and have 2 primary aged DC. So, please give me your must visit places, 1 close to home (my home 🤣) and then the must visit places anywhere in the UK.

I'd like to do some day trips, and overnights for the closer places. Mostly me znd DC, but sometimes (fingers crossed!! Just me).

The nicest cities in the UK are York, Bath, Canterbury, and Edinburgh.

The nicest national park is the lake district.

The nicest beaches are the North Coast of Devon and Cornwall.
