How do you keep your finished lego in good nick?

Ds saved up his Xmas money and bought the Daily Bugle. It is our most expensive lego by a long chalk. He finally finished it today and it looks amazing. But sooo vulnerable. I want to keep it safe (and hopefully keep some value) But I can already see the cats eyeing it up. I have seen a case available for £117, but too much!! Also, won't come for 3 weeks so 3 weeks of stress.

We keep our Lego in the cases , they are expensive but it makes dusting much easier

This is an interesting idea. Does it not blast all the little parts off though?

I’m desperate for something to keep mine clean; at the moment I dust them with a soft blusher brush but it’s not great. Mine are modular buildings so they stay out all the time and seem to get filthy.

I shower mine and they stay together, even the tiny parts, so I’m sure an air duster would be fine!

Our cat jumped into my DH's Star Destroyer. I think it's the angriest I've ever seen him in 23 years.

It hasn't made him move any of his other things though, which are all on cattable shelves. I think he is daring her to do it again.
