I keep seeing posts from people about Herbalife and it looks very much like a MLM scheme to me, how do they actually earn money?

@LoveBluey that sounds exactly like the person who appears to have hooked this person in. Her life looks very glamorous and her boyfriend is also a Herbalife person. Strange but I guess people must be buying their wares!

Not necessarily. They'll make more money from hooking in other people than from actually selling the product.

At one place I worked at, an IT audit showed one person viewing porn on a work PC in work time, and also several employees using the work email system to try to recruit colleagues to Herbalife. Dismissals for gross misconduct for all.

Plus much of the ‘glamour’ may simply be faked for social media. I’ve heard of these people taking pictures with cars that aren’t theirs/getting shopping bags for expensive designer stores even though they haven’t shopped there/posing outside posh restaurants they haven’t actually eaten at etc.

Absolutely an MLM, there's a Netflix show called Betting On Zero... watch this to see the lives that have been destroyed by this company.
