Do you have a towelling robe for after showers, a fleece one for lounging or both? How much do you use them?

Thank you for helping me make very important decisions about what dressing gown(s) I want!

My towelling poncho lives on a hook on the bathroom door. Most
of the others are on bedroom door hooks and one or two live in the wardrobe.
My top tip, though, is that poncho-style robes, or ones with a zip rather than a belt, are much cosier and remove the risk of accidental flashing.

None for regular use. We one one towelling one if one of us is sick.

I towel myself dry after a shower or bath and get dressed (clothes after shower and pj after bath). I don't see a need for a robe to go from the bath to the bedroom.

I prefer a pair of jeans/jeggings and a jumper if I lounge on the sofa. Never wear nightclothes outside the bed.

I have a warm fleecy one. If it is particularly cold I wear it in the evening while sat on sofa as a warm layer over clothes. Or over pyjamas if I change from work clothes in the evening. I wouldn't ever put a dressing gown on after a shower as I shower in the morning and get dressed immediately. Very occasionally have bath in evening and then get dried put pyjamas and fleecy dressing gown on. I wouldn't want to just put a towelling gown on.

So if you are putting a robe on after a shower....Is this just to go from bathroom to bedroom? Or do you wear it for longer? Is this in the evening or the morning? And is this over nightwear? underwear? or just a robe? I'm not getting this at all....

Straight into a towelling dressing gown from the shower

I don't have a fleece one - I have a selection of knock off Oodies instead!

Both! Towelling for after shower, before getting dressed. I wear it while I brush my teeth, do my hair, etc. fleece to go over pjs to keep me warm. Plus a linen one for summer.

Help me find a good towelling robe please! My old one is brilliant but literally falling apart. I got a replacement about 5yrs ago but it doesn’t dry me, it just kind of sticks! It’s too fluffy and I’ve probably used it 5 times!
