Who’s joining me for a run?!

Children still in bed (early and mid secondary before anyone gets anxious).
Stockings ready and waiting outside bedroom doors
Breakfast table laid

I have just unloaded the dishwasher, turned on all the lights, got in to my running gear and now having a coffee thinking about what route I’m going to take.

who’s with me?! I’m thinking about 7k, a short sharp blast and back in time to have a shower, get dressed and get the oven on and my children won’t even have stirred!

No running - but going surfing after breakfast!!!! Can't wait!

Back and it was perfect! Although I had overdressed a little because actually very mild. Now shower and stockings. Happy Christmas!!

I've just been out for an hour or so round the woods with my head torch. I always like a Christmas day dawn run.

Nah not for me - done nothing since I came down with the lurgy 3 weeks ago. I have walked the dog though.

Back on it on the 27th.

Off to parkrun. Am the only one up so far in our house. The others made polite noises about joining me, but never do.

Yea! You’ve just given me the extra bit
of motivation i needed. 13DS still deciding whether to jump on his bike and join me. Rest of the day will be spent opening presents and enjoying tasty food… so a quiet run to get the day going is just whats needed!

i cannot run. I am not built for speed! Anyway I am terribly clumsy and always falling over!

I do promise in the new year to take more walks though.

Why can't i do it now. Ummm well I intend to slip under my cover and listen to an audio CD when I get home from work!!!

I’d love to, the weather is perfect! But I’m resting my hip/hamstring as it’s niggly. I had such great runs planned for this week! Go and enjoy it I say 😃

just back from Parkrun with DD. it's not cold but I'm chilled even after my shower. hello mumsnet runners 👋🏽

There was a wonderful atmosphere at parkrun today, so much fancy dress and i wore my festive tutu! Baby is still asleep after napping at 9am so I've not missed out with her at all🤣.

Whoever said make it a tradition with the husband and baby cheering me on...great idea as i gave lots of little children hi fives as i ran past! My local one doesn't usually have a xmas day PR so it may be a one off! If not then I'll keep the tradition alive!

No run but going to jump on the peloton shortly and do a 30 min spin class

Pre dinner run planned at 12. I shall wear my Santa hat (if it stops pouring with rain, otherwise it's a non festive baseball cap 😂)

I got new walking trainers for Christmas

So I don't know if I'll wait until Wednesdays 10k planned walk now - I need to break them in
