Just that really…

It's my birthday so my favourite breakfast - eggs benedict, champagne and a double espresso.

TattiePants · 23/12/2022 17:21

Smoked salmon, bagels and either scrambled egg or cream cheese on Christmas Day with Bucks Fizz. The DC’s will mainly be eating chocolate from their stockings!

Christmas Eve we’re having a cooked breakfast for brunch and it will be Pain au Chocolate on Boxing Day.

golfwidow88 · 23/12/2022 17:21

Croissants and pain au chocolat. Salmon and scrambled egg. Buck's Fizz!

Will make a Nutella Christmas tree too.

SnowAndIceLobelia · 23/12/2022 17:27

croissants with apricot jam, bacon and scrambled eggs.

RewildingAmbridge · 23/12/2022 17:29

Coffee while opening stockings then scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with trust and bucks fizz

kingofchaos · 23/12/2022 17:37

Banana and honey pancakes for the kids. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for me and OH.

fussychica · 23/12/2022 17:48

Fresh orange juice, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, toast or croissants. Coffee.

Taytocrisps · 23/12/2022 17:54

Bagels with a full Irish - sausages, rashers, white pudding (I don't like black), fried egg. Melon on the side. Orange juice and Tea/coffee for drinks

londonmummy1966 · 23/12/2022 17:57

Champagne

GroggyLegs · 23/12/2022 18:04

American pancakes with crispy bacon & syrup.

We have our big turkey dinner on Christmas Eve, so we have a good breakfast/brunch on Christmas day itself.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 23/12/2022 18:05

DH and DTeens will be having toasted stollen.

I'll be having my traditional Babycham and Matchmakers breakfast 😋

WaitingOutside · 23/12/2022 18:06

Cooked breakfast hopefully (we're staying in a hotel near parents).

Usually, we have the Jus Rol bake yourself pain au chocolat and cinnamon rolls. It's a bit of a christmas tradition now.

Crunchymum · 23/12/2022 18:07

We have those mini cerals where everyone argues who gets the one box of Frosties (yet when I suggested a box of Frosties everyone side eyed me 😂)

Christmas traditions innit.

Grown ups have bacon rolls for brunch.

Musicalmistress · 23/12/2022 18:12

Kedgeree, or bacon rolls for those not fancying the rice, with lots of bucks fizz

ChestnutGrove · 23/12/2022 18:12

GoldenCagedBird · 23/12/2022 15:03

Just coffee, fizz and chocolate/nuts from the Xmas bowls.

I’m not a mumsnet teeny tiny - I just like to be starving for Christmas lunch.

Mumsnet teeny tiny 😃

I like the sound of the brioche stars and Christmas trees. Will try and get one next year

Shannith · 23/12/2022 18:16

Homemade cinnamon buns - made earlier and frozen. Most remember to get them out before I go to bed Christmas eve to defrost/second proove. Also got some just roll pain au chocolates.

IntentionalError · 23/12/2022 18:17

Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs & champagne. One Christmas tradition I’m very happy to keep going. 😋

KvotheTheBloodless · 23/12/2022 19:21

Waffles from DS's new waffle-maker. With fruit and Nutella.

thismeansnothing · 23/12/2022 19:23

We got a mix of frozen pastries to bung in the oven to have with fruit and a brew

Cuppasoupmonster · 23/12/2022 19:25

Small fry up (eggs, bacon, baked beans) and pain au chocolate. Buck’s Fizz for DH, orange juice for me (pregnant) and DD.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 23/12/2022 19:29

Bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, coffee, Buck’s Fizz. Late breakfast/brunch - dinner won’t be until 5 or 6.

Dh will have to have his usual first thing though - creature of unshakeable habit - muesli and fruit.

NextPrimeMinister · 23/12/2022 19:31

CatOclock · 23/12/2022 14:32

French toast, bacon and maple syrup, yum.

This, but swapping the french toast for pancakes 🥞

CMOTDibbler · 23/12/2022 19:32

Trifle. We will also have this on boxing day morning for breakfast as is tradition in this house

Myotherusernameisaferrari · 24/12/2022 09:51

Advised not to currently due to listeria risk.

I also suspect that whilst I miss the idea of it, I'd get one sniff and run awau feeling very green.

AudTheDeepMinded · 24/12/2022 09:54

Croissants and pain au chocolat with coffee. I also have eggs and salmon and bagels which I might have if they take my fancy instead. Kids will have eaten all the chocolate from their stocking I expect!
