French toast with bacon. That's the plan but I've just rejected the bread substitution in my order so now wondering if I've got any bread at all - might have to go to the local shop tomorrow (not going back to Waitrose- there was a queue to get in the parking lot and a b$€#h drove past me as I was waiting patiently for a click and collect space and nabbed one just pulling out! She wasn't even doing click and collect).
My son will probably have some protein shake or oatmeal and my daughter doesn't eat breakfast.

Chikapu · 23/12/2022 15:43

Earl Grey tea and a fudge out of the QS tin.

Puuy · 23/12/2022 15:47

Nothing, tends to just be a snack on snacks affair if you want something and then Christmas dinner fairly early.

cliffdiver · 23/12/2022 15:49

DH and I are having salmon and cream cheese bagels.

Buck's Fizz and sausage barns. Paper plates and napkins. No fuss no washing up.

Natsku · 23/12/2022 15:55

Rice porridge, as usual, and this year something new - Star Bread (sweet bun dough with almond cream and raspberry jam filling shaped like a star. Sort of. It was harder to shape than I expected so its probably going to be Blob Bread)

Bibbitybobbityboot · 23/12/2022 15:58

Another who has pork pie here! Wondering if it’s a midlands thing as we are from Leicestershire.

We have cold meats, cheeses and sausage rolls with it.

I am on an early shift both Christmas Eve and Day so will bring in a Slimfast to drink as I cannot face anything before 7am when I get in. (Virtuous I know!!!)

gingercat02 · 23/12/2022 16:06

Champagne and bacon and eggs rolls. That's what we always have when we're at home for Christmas

roundtable · 23/12/2022 16:09

Made at home 'mcmuffins' or American style pancakes.

Classy. We try to change the breakfast each year.

Dh wanted kippers. I love kippers but we have a houseful of guests coming over in the afternoon so no.
