If you are on your own for Christmas Day, what are you planning for dinner?

I am going to have slow cooked Boeuf Bourguignon with buttery mash. The ingredients are en route today, so I can marinade the beef in red wine before putting it in the slow cooker Christmas Eve. Button mushrooms, shallots and pancetta in the sauce. Lots of leftovers for the freezer.

Homemade ginger biscuit chocolate tiffin with mango sorbet for pud.

That sounds absolutely delightful. What tipple will you have with yours?

More red wine (I am a big fan of the wine box living alone) and I have some dessert wine I have been looking forward to with the pud.

I have bought some posh Brie if I have room!

Don't know yet, haven't been shopping. Probably a pizza.

This year will be my first Christmas morning alone. At 12pm I'll be picking up my DD8 and we'll have Xmas lunch together at home and she can unwrap her presents.

I'll be having a nice Merlot with my Xmas lunch. Traditional Xmas pud for me and a chocolate yule log for DD8

Aahhh...why don't you treat yourself. Or is a pizza a treat. I love pizza also x
