Just curious Has anyone ever experienced

a white Christmas. I don't mean ice on the ground from previous snow I mean snow actually falling on Christmas Day. I was born 1975 I'm from the UK and as far as I can remember I've never known one.

2010 in Derbyshire. We sledged on Christmas Eve and it was magical.

I really don't remember! Live in London now so probably not but as a young girl living in Kent (not rural though) I am willing to bet I did once see snow at Christmas!

When I lived near Croydon (well someone has to!) I remember going across to give a friend a present and it was a bright sunny day!

1978 was where we were living, and 2005.

One in the early 80s I think, and another mid 2005ish - we had to come home from my parents house early 'cos we didn't want to get stuck there and the cat was outside. Nobody wants to come home to a frozen pussy.

Last Christmas I'm in Aberdeenshire in Scotland.

Most recent, I think, was the Cotswolds in 2010. Really thick and lasted nearly 2 weeks!

Prior to that in Cambridgeshire, definitely a couple of times since the mid-80s.

The only one that stands out was 2009 when my first was born, ot was a very white Christmas in the South West.
