What just happened?! I don't know what to make of this.

I've had the strangest experience tonight and I don't know how to explain it.

I volunteer with a charity, and tonight myself and 3 others from there went out to a pub I've never been to before for a pre-Christmas drink.

At one point I went to the toilet and as I was on my way out a woman was on her way in. We exchanged pleasantries and went on our separate ways.

About 5 minutes after I'd joined my friends, this same woman came up to us, and sat next to me on the banquette thing. She took my hand and said she had to tell me something.

It was all a bit odd, but I figured she'd maybe had a drink, and I had no objection to her joining us. But then she said to me that she had xxx with her and he wanted me to know that he was happy, that he loved me and that it was time I moved on. She was crying as she said this and I started crying too because xxx was the name of my late dh.

I have no idea how she could've known any of this. None of us knew her, I'd never been to that pub before, dh's name isn't wildly unusual but not that common either, why did she come and find me after our brief encounter in the toilet etc.

I can't get my head around it! Any ideas?!

Yep, I can do this. My husband's gran knew I was pregnant instantly, only about 6 or 7 weeks.

By 11 weeks is easy

From a stranger though? how would a complete stranger know someone's face looks "soft". I see plenty of people out and about with soft faces, I'm sure not all of them are pregnant as men get that look too

I could explain to them how a radio worked. It really isn't rocket science! I agree that there are things we can't see but we can still prove they exist (eg electricity, gas etc) but nobody can prove a medium is anything other than at best an entertainer and at worst somebody who oreys on vulnerable people.

Do you really think that no believers have critical thinking skills?

I mean I don’t think it’s very intelligent to keep repeating the same thing about Derren Brown and how mediums do what they do when most people have said that most mediums are charlatans.

Since we are only discussing the possibility of real mediums here then we don’t need to keep talking about the above.

You must be incredibly frustrating to be around. You’re just saying anything now because you know you can’t explain away Mamanyt’s story so you’ve tried to distract by switching to a different, irrelevant argument.

If this story is true, it’s laughable that someone would try to come up with a rational explanation!

My mother had a small grocery shop in Willesden. Afte the 2nd world war she lost he brother. One day an unknown woman walked into the shop and said to mu mum, your brother's just been in. They didn't know each other so I do believe that there are people with special gifts.
